Hi! I am Julia

I’m a cultural worker, active in the arts and the live music sector for almost 20 years now.

My work experience includes roles such as artistic director, production manager, communication manager, social media manager and image maker.

Currently I’m working for the live music venue Fri-Son, as well as doing freelance work for bands and institutions such as The Swiss Federal Office of Culture.

Furthermore I love to work in projects bringing together artists and cultural actors from Northern Africa, Southwest Asia and Europe.

Also I really love to point my camera at the world: my way of uncovering the patterns of the memory in my eye, the mind hot-wired to the index finger.

Last but not least: I’m training to become a specialist for accessibility in communication. Accessibility to me is a perspective and the framework I’d like to apply to everything I work on.

Create meaningful interactions and connections through art and culture.
